Features
Everything Whisper does, as implemented today.
Real-time dictation
Clients stream 16 kHz mono PCM (16-bit, base64, 100–1000 ms chunks) to wss://whisper.thundera.eu/api/v1/stream. Live dictation supports auto/multi (auto-detect), English, Spanish, Portuguese (pt, pt-BR, pt-PT), French, German, Italian, Dutch, Japanese, Hindi and Russian.
AI cleanup and tone
Raw transcripts are cleaned in a single model call: filler words removed, punctuation and grammar fixed. Tones: concise, formal, casual, technical, default. If the model is unavailable, you receive the raw transcript — the dictation is never lost. Cleanup runs through the Thundera models gateway (alias fast).
Translation
Set a target language different from the source and Whisper translates while cleaning up. The iOS app adds a two-way text and voice conversation mode with speech output. Targets: English, Spanish, Portuguese (Brazil/Portugal), French, German, Italian, Dutch, Japanese, Korean, Chinese, Russian, Arabic, Hindi, Swedish, Polish, Turkish, Ukrainian, Danish, Finnish, Norwegian.
Voice commands
In command mode, select text and speak an instruction. Whisper returns a transformed version as a preview (command_result) before it replaces your text.
Dictionary
Up to 10,000 terms per user, each with an optional pronunciation hint and category. Terms are sent to the cleanup model so names and jargon are spelled correctly.
Snippets
Up to 500 per user. Say the trigger phrase and the expansion text is inserted instead.
Notes
Dictated notes saved to your account, available from the web app and API.
Settings and per-app tone
Global settings plus per-application overrides (for example casual tone in chat, technical in your editor). Developer mode adds a naming convention: camelCase, snake_case, PascalCase or kebab-case.
HIPAA mode
A privacy switch per user and per organization (PUT /api/v1/settings/hipaa, PUT /api/v1/org/settings/hipaa).
Teams and API keys
Organization admins list, invite and remove members and create API keys (prefix sk_sus_, stored hashed) for programmatic access with the X-API-Key header.
